from wo hang to 6 miles is 94 feet, the last three quarter
mile to She Tou Kok being practically level.
BRIDGES:
As far as Wo Hang the Railway is carried over the same
bridges as the Government Road, thence onwards, the re are four
bridges of about 25 feet span, on rolled steel joists which
were left over from Construction of the Main Line, one double
five feet concrete culvert, one twelve feet span bridge on
timber baulks and numerous concrete and pipe culverts from
six inches and twenty-four inches diameter.
BUILDINGS:
At Fanling there is a rough engine shed and pits for two
engines, while at the four stations on the Line rough shelters are constructed about 16 feet by 8 feet, with the exception
of the terminus where a Ticket Office is added.
All these
buildings are constructed from old materials and can only
be considered temporarffy.

At Fanling there is a well from which water is pumped through an old Tangyes Pump by steam from one of the Locomo-

PERMANENT WAY:
The Fermanent Way consists of 85 lb. construction rails and fastenings for the first half mile, 55 lb. and ♦♬ lb. construction rails and fastenings as far as mile 6, and
35 lb. rails and fastenings, bought second hand from singapore for the rest of the Line including loop and siding at Sha Tou kok, loops at Shek Chung Au and Wo hang and eidings at mile 4 to a brickworks and at mile lễ to a new village site.
All the sleepers are old construction, jarrah sleepers out in half, and spaced about four to five feet apart.
